Referát představuje standardní čínštinu spolu s angličtinou jako stress-timed langauges (kdežto čeština = syllable-timed language). Nápadná paralela: v obou jazycích existuje skupina slov s gramatickým významem a převážně klitickým chováním, foneticky oslabovaných. Angličtina: words with weak forms, čínština: "klitikoidy" (nový termín). Představen nový metodologický koncept "minimodulů", vhodný pro nácvik výslovnosti klitik a klitikoidů.

The paper introduces Mandarin as well as English as syllable-timed languages (whereas Czech is a syllable-timed language). A striking parallel: there exists a group of grammatical words in both languages which regularly behave as clitics and undergo phonetic weakening. English: words with weak forms, Mandarin: the “cliticiods” (a newly coined term). A new methodological concept of „minimodules“ is introduced, benefitial for training the pronunciation of the clitics and cliticoids.
