    The article deals with the numerical simulation of transitional flows using two transition models. The first one is a simple algebraic model developed by Příhoda and Straka (2010) and the second one is the three-equation k-kL-omega model of Walters and Cokljat (2008). Both models were tested for the case of simple flows over the flat plate (ERCOFTAC T3A, T3B, and T3AM cases) and for the case of flow through a subsonic turbine cascade. Both models are compared to available experimental data.
