Memoáry Vlastimila Klímy, v roce 1938 poslance československého parlamentu, se zabývají širšími souvislostmi československé krize roku 1938, ústící v podrobení se výroku konference velmocí v Mnichově. Klíma detailně popisuje společenskou atmosféru a především politické dění z pohledu odpůrce mnichovské kapitulace. Na základě vlastních zážitků z francouzského pobytu v létě 1938 též přibližuje rozložení politických sil ve Francii a její vztah k Československu.

Memoirs of Vlastimil Klíma, in 1938 a deputy of the Czechoslovak parliament, reflect the wider context of the Czechoslovak crisis of 1938, resulting in the submission statement of conference in Munich. Klíma describes in detail the social atmosphere and especially the Czechoslovak political life from the perspective of opponent of the Munich capitulation. Based on their own experience of the French residence in the summer of 1938 he also describes the political situation in France and its relations toward Czechoslovakia.
