Text se věnuje problematice neogotických chrličů při obnově a dostavbě Svatovítské katedrály. Plastiky se vztahují ke třem stavitelům katedrály Josefu Krannerovi (ve funkci 1861–1871), Josefu Mockerovi (1872–1899), Kamilu Hilbertovi (1899–1933).

The text focuses on the problems of the Neogothic gargoyles during the restoration and renovation of the St Vitus’ Cathedral. Sculptures relate to the work of three Cathedral architects: Josef Kranner (the master builder 1861–1871), Josef Mocker (1872–1899), Kamil Hilbert (1899–1933).
