Stylops male gets to vicinity of a bee parasited by a female by the sex pheromone, the stylopsal, released from Nassonow‘s gland of a female. Releasing from the gland is not controlled by muscles and is highly increasing just after copulation. Later level of pheromone drops. Mated ♀ is no more attractive for males after copulation, probably level of pheromone gets too low.
