V blízkosti raně středověkého hradiště u Stavenic, okr. Šumperk, bylo nalezeno luxusní udidlo složené z bronzových zdobených postranic a železné středové části zhruba z poloviny 10. stol. či o málo pozdější. Jedná se o nejsevernější nález maďarského původu v České republice, obdobné nálezy však pronikly i do polského Slezska. Nález ukazuje na strategický význam širšího prostoru Moravské brány.

A luxurious equestrian bit with decorated bronze sidepieces and an iron centre part from the middle of the 10th century or slightly later was found near the early medieval stronghold near Stavenice in the Šumperk district. While this is the northernmost find of Hungarian origin in the Czech Republic, similar finds have been found as far away as in Polish Silesia. The find indicates the strategic importance of the broader area of the "Moravian Gate".
