Práce zpřístupňuje odborné i laické veřejnosti výsledky záchranného výzkumu v trase obchvatu města Kolína, který Archeologický ústav AV ČR, Praha prováděl v letech 2008-2010. V první části textové jsou shrnuty výsledky terénní části výzkumu a předběžné výsledky první etapy zpracování movitých i nemovitých artefaktů a ekofaktů. Druhou částí je katalog předmětů prezentovaných na výstavě, která byla zahájena v září 2012 v Regionálním muzeu v Kolíně. Obě části doplňuje bohatá fotografická dokumentace.

The book publishes the results of rescue excavation of the route of the Kolín city bypass, which was realized by the Institute of Archaeology of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Prague in the years 2008-2010. The first text part summarizes the results of field research and preliminary results of the first phase of processing movable and immovable artefacts and ecofacts. The second part is a catalogue of finds presented at the exhibition which was opened in September 2012 in Regional museum in Kolín. Both parts are supplemented by rich photographic documentation.
