    The aim was to examine the effect of pinosylvin and carnisine in monotherapy, and the combined effect of carnisine and methotrexate on disease progression in arthritic rats. The monitored parameters were: change of hind paw volume, arthritic score in arthrogram , enzyme activity and induced oxidation of lipids. Results indicated reduction of oxidative stress in adjuvant arthritis.
