Effect of natural polyphenols, curcumin, pinosylvin and pterostilbene, alone or in combination with methotrexate was investigated on whole blood neutrophil count, whole blood and hind paw chemoluminiscence in rats with adjuvant arthritis. Methotrexate in combination with pinosylvin significantly decreased all three parameters investigated.
