The contribution deals with study of the decay of bubble shape oscillations in pure liquids and in solutions of soluble surfactants. The bubble is excited by a motion of a tip of a capillary, to which the bubble is attached. The damping time and oscillation frequency are studied for the lowest three eigenmodes. It is observed that the bubble oscillation dynamics is strongly affected by surfactant presence. The addition of surfactant leads to the faster decay of oscillations and strange bahaviour of oscillation frequency, which initially increases and then suddenly drops.
