The paper is dealing with study of the surface topography created by the pulsating water jet. Polished stainless steel samples were exposed to defined number of impacts of pulsating water jet. Topography of surface influenced by the action of pulsating water jet was evaluated and height characteristics of the surface roughness were determined. The data obtained from surface texture measurement were analyzed and results are interpreted in relation to number of pulses impacting on the surface in the paper.
