Zeolites represent the most important group of inorganic materials applied in numerous large-scale chemical technologies around the world with increasing application in petrochemical production and fine chemical synthesis. In this chapter, we tried to highlight the most interesting achievements in reactions catalyzed by acid forms of different structural types of zeolites with particular attention paid to their structural features. Channel size, dimensionality of pore systems and their inner architecture are the most important textural features of zeolites controlling the site accessibility and the transport rates of reactants and products. Where efficient we tried also to relate the catalytic behavior of zeolites to particle morphology, dealumination, precoking or ionexchange whenever these modification were carried out aiming at the increase in the activity or selectivity of zeolites.
