Stať analyzuje autobiografické vyprávění jako narativní konstrukci identity mluvčích v dané komunikační situaci. Interview je vedeno s respondenty německého původu žijícími v České republice a jeho analýza se zaměřuje na jazykové rysy narativní konstrukce etnické identity těchto mluvčích.

Autobiographical narratives may be conceived of as a narrative construction of one's identity claimed in a given speech situation. The analysis of an interview with respondents of German origin who live in the Czech Republic focuses on linguistic features of such a construction.
