One of the newly developed methods of degradation is the electrochemical degradation. Electrochemically generated atoms of hydrogen are not only much more reactive but effective also under milder conditions than the conventional methods of debromination [4, 5]. Within the frame of this work we have used for the first time an electrochemical microreactor whose application in this context has not been described in the literature. The obtained original experimental results confirm significantly higher efficiency and the speed of degradation in comparison with the classic electrochemical reactor and chemical methods of PBDE degradation.
