Electrostatically guided self-assembly of nanoparticles (50 nm alumina aq.) from colloidal emulsion on the charged diamond micro-patterns with potential contrast > ±1 V is demonstrated. This opens prospects for applications of diamond and its unique set of properties in self-assembly of nano-devices.
