Crystallization kinetics in the supercooled melt of glassy Er:LiY(PO3)4 was studied by non-isothermal DSC on the bulk samples, cylinders 3.6 mm in diameter and 1.8 mm in height. The values of the Avrami exponent n were determined by means of the JMA equation, function y(α) and the Matusita equation and the results obtained were discussed.
