Článek zkoumá Hegelovo pojetí místa individua v běhu dějin, odehrávajícím se na podloží sebeutváření absolutna. Zaměřuje se na Hegelovu Fenomenologii ducha a ukazuje, že Hegelova filosofie představuje velkolepý pokus o sjednocení jedinečnosti a naplnění neosobního, dynamicky se uskutečňujícího absolutního principu.

The paper considers the place of the individual in the course of history which unfolds on the ground of the self-realisation of the absolute. The focus is on Hegel's Phenomenology of Spirit, in which Hegel presents a grand attempt at uniting the full development of peculiarity and uniqueness with the fulfillment of an impersonal, dynamically-realising, absolute principle.
