PŘEDNESENO na AFI/TFI 2011,Sendai,JP,9-11.11.2011,str.76-77: The paper presents numerical simulations of the discharge and the near outlet regions of the hybrid-stabilized argon-water electric arc. Two methods are applied for radiation losses from the arc, the net emission coefficients and the partial characteristics. The principal difference between them is the reabsorption of radiation in the outer colder parts of the discharge in the partial characteristics. This fact influences the fluid, thermal and electrical characteristics of the discharge. Comparison with available experimental temperature and velocity profiles shows good agreement.
