    Several different strains of Monilinia and Candida spp. were subjected to analysis by three well-established analytical techniques – CIEF, IEF and MALDI-TOF MS. Our results have revealed that that isoelectric points, migration velocities or the protein patterns can be used as the identification markers. The proposed methods are suitable for rapid and reliable identification of both Monilinia and Candida „psilosis“ spp. in a common laboratory, which could be used for correct disease diagnosis and subsequent successful treatment of an infection.
