Předneseno na 30th International Conference on Phenomena in Ionized Gases,Belfast,IE,28.8.-2.9.2011: Spectroscopic measurements were performed by observing the plasma inside the kerf during cutting of stainless steel. Experiments were carried out on the plasma torch operated with the plasma gas composed from the vaporized mixture of water and ethanol; arc current was 60 A and cutting speed 30 cm/min. Emission spectra of the plasma with lines of hydrogen, oxygen and carbon were enriched by the spectral lines of neutral iron, chromium, manganese and nickel. We used these spectra to experimental evaluation of the temperature of plasma in the kerf and close under the cut plate. Temperatures determined from plasma gas (hydrogen) and melted material (iron) are compared.
