The text of the article contains a detailed history of the long and complex preparatory project works that preceded the building of the Central Theatre in Kladno. The construction of the theatre was highly supported by Kladno amateur theatrical Sokol society: Tyl, whose members are often the poorest strata of the population, nevertheless they managed to bring the construction works to final realisation. The building was built between 1909-1912 designed by architect Jaroslav Rössler and Emil Count builder.
