The motivation of the contribution comes from the separation of plastics grains by flotation process. This process significantly differs from the well known mineral flotation (Alter, 2005), where the small particles collides with large bubble surface. However, the understanding of the collision and attachment mechanism of small bubbles with large particles is still missing. A good starting point of the research is to simplify the system by replacing the particle by horizontal wall. Thus, the aim of the contribution is to study the bubble-wall interactions both experimentally and theoretically.
