Fotosystém II je klíčový fotosyntetický membránový komplex sinic, řas a rostlin odpovědný za oxidaci vody a vývoj kyslíku. Je to složitý komplex proteinů, pigmentů, lipidů a iontů.

Photosystem II is the key photosynthetic membrane complex of cyanobacteria, algae and plants responsible for oxidation of water and release of oxygen. It is a complex of proteins, pigments, lipids and ions with its assembly proceeding in a number of well defined steps. During this assembly the formed sub-complexes bind a number of auxiliary protein factors that are important for correct composition of the dimeric complex but they are not its components. The role of two such factors named Psb27 a Psb28 is described
