The main focus of a present paper presented is an estimation of the macroscopic elastic modulus and stress-strain behavior of a particulate composite with crosslinked polymer matrix. A hyperelastic material behavior of the matrix was taken into account by using of the Mooney-Rivlin material model. Two different types of regular particle arrangements were modeled simple cubic (SC) and body-centered cubic (BCC) arrangements. The whole stress-strain curve of the composite was modeled by means of FEM. Numerical model based on unit cell representing simple cubic particle arrangement can be used for estimation of elastic properties of the composite in wide range of volume fractions of the filler with good accuracy. The numerical results showed that the BCC model doesn’t effectively describe the real stress-strain behavior of the particulate composite considered. A better description was provided by the numerical model containing SC arrangement of the particles.
