A novel approach was developed to simulate effective diffusion coefficients for mixed matrix membranes represented by a dispersion of zeolitic crystals in polymeric matrix. The approach is based on combined application of 2D-image analysis of composites and stochastic reconstruction of two phase system in 3D space. Thus, one can realize a random walk computing experiment in a stochastic replica which has the same statistical characteristics as the real system.
