The base metal was represented by Ni, Zn, Al, Mg, Fe and grey cast iron(Fe-C). Palladium of the concentration up to 0.4% formed a disconuous film on the surface of the bas metal. The most efficient catalyst proved to be the combination Fe-C/Pd which during 48 hours reduced the concentration of organics up to 1% of the initial concentration.
