Byly syntetizovány modifikované dimery betulinu jakožto výchozí látky pro zavedení komplexotvorných skupin. Potenciální využití těchto chelátů je v oblasti extrakce trans-aktiniodů (III+), např. americia.

Modified dimers of betulin were prepared as precursors for the chelate molecules. The chelates based on dimeric triterpenoids are especially usefull for extraction of trans actinoids (III+) e.g. americium.
