V příspěvku jsou prezentovány výsledky experimentálního měření rychlostních profilů a průběhů hladin ve vírovém separátoru. Získané výsledky jsou porovnány s numerickými simulacemi provedenými pomocí programu ANSYS Fluent 12.1.
The paper focuses on experimental measurements of velocity profiles as well as shapes of a free surface in a separator of the swirl geometry. Measured data are compared with results of numerical simulations performed by the program ANSYS Fluent 12.1.
