पँचवें दशक में हिंदी पढ्ने के लिए सामग्री मिलना बहुत मुश्किल था, पाठ्य पुस्तकें नहीं थीं, शब्दकोश नहीं थे। हमारा अध्यापक विंसेंस पोरीज़्क ने अपने हाथ से बहुत सामग्री तैयार करके साइक्लोस्टाइल कराया। बाद में रूसी शब्दकोश मिला। परिस्थितियाँ जैसी भी थीं, हिंदी का अध्ययन/अध्यापन चला।
In the 1950s it was quite difficult to study Hindi in Prague. There were almost no textbooks nor dictionaries. Our Hindi teacher Vincenc Porizka prepared manz materials himself and had them cyclostyled. Later we got Hindi/Russian dictionaries. However difficult the circumstances may have been, Hindi studies werre carried on.
