The uptake and metabolism of the oostatic 5P, H-Tyr-Asp-Pro-Ala-Pro-OH in ovaries of Neobellieria bullata was analyzed during their developmental stages. The uptake of the applied radioactivity strongly depends on the stage of vitellogenesis with a very rapid degradation of the 5P.
