The surface morphology, roughness, structural and textural properties of thin nanolayers of Titania that is promising as catalytic agent for removing of organic impurities from waste water and air, photovoltaic cell and pigment were studied. Gel nanolayers were prepared by repeated dip-coating of silica glass to transparent homogeneous sol. Transparent gel layers were converted to anatase layers by calcination at 400°C for 4 hours or by subcritic H2O extraction. The sol was prepared by sol-gel method. The chosen nonionic surfactant (Triton X-102, 100, 114, 45, 15) was mixed in cyclohexane in the presence of small amount of water to form inverse micelles. After the micelle formation the metal precursor, Ti(OC3H7)4, was added. The influence of used surfactants was observed. The textural characteristics (SBET, pore-size distribution) and structural characteristics (grain size, phase composition) of.
