Nd-doped BaF2 crystals were prepared from BaF2 and NdF3 (both of purity > 99.9%) powders by melting over their melting points and solidification. X-ray induced emission spectra were measured using spectrometer equipped with nitrogen-purged sample chamber, deuterium lamp as a light source and X-ray tube.

Nd dopovaná krystaly BaF2 byly připraveny z prášků BaF2 a NdF3 (čistoty > 99,9%) a to jejich roztavením nad jejich teploty tání a následnou solidifikací. Emisní spektra bya měřena při buzení X-zářením na spektrometru s komorou s průchodem dusíku, deutériovou lampou a zdrojem X-záření.
