Studie shrnuje historii České strany státoprávně pokrokové, představující osobitou mluvčí radikálního českého nacionalismu na počátku 20. století, jež jako první česká politická strana kalkulovala s ideou samostatného českého státu i mimo rámec Rakousko-Uherska, orientovala se na mezinárodní řešení české otázky a stala se průkopnicí domácího i zahraničního odboje za první světové války.
The study summarizes the history of the Czech Constitutional Progressive Party, a special voice of the radical Czech nationalism at the beginning of the 20th century. It was the first political party which incorporated the idea of an independent Czech state out of the framework of Austria-Hungary, counted with the international solution of the Czech question, and stood in the forefront of domestic and foreign resistance during the World War I.
