Práce sumarizuje výzkumy prováděné v katedrále sv. Víta od roku 1876 a nově analyzuje nález její románské fáze. Zabývá se jak stavební historií, tak liturgickým vývojem, přináší katalog architektonických článků náležejících k bazilice.
The text sumarises excavations executed in St. Vitus cathedral from 1876 and in a new way analyses the romanesque phase of construction. It considers the building history, liturgical development and catalogue of architectural elements be due to romanesque basilica.
