V jižní části pohoří Totes Gebirge byla potvrzena 2 dobře charakterizovaná brachiopodová společenstva ve svrchním sinemuru a v pliensbachu. Rhynchonellina suessi Gemm. byla poprve zjištěna v Severních vápencových Alpách.

Two well-established brachiopod assemblages in the Upper Sinemurian and in the Pliensbachian were confirmed in the southern part of Totes Gebirge Mts. Rhynchonellina suessi Gemm. was ascertained for the first time in the Northern Calcareous Alps.
