The workshop was based on presentations of research topics that are of a focus at the Department of Sociology of Education and Stratification and also included discussion. Department members addressed papers focused on social stratification (The Role of Values and Beliefs about Life Success in the Social Stratification System), various aspects of educational inequalities formation (e.g. The impact of system structure on the formation of educational inequalities) and educational mobility (e.g. Educational inequality in the Czech Republic between 1906 and 2002 from a mobility perspective).

Obsahem workshopu pro delegaci z Kasetsart University bylo seznámení s tematickým zaměřením činnosti oddělení sociologie vzdělání a stratifikace, diskuse a výměna zkušeností. Členové oddělení prezentovali příspěvky týkající se sociální stratifikace (The Role of Values and Beliefs about Life Success in the Social Stratification System), různých aspektů formování vzdělanostních nerovností (např. The impact of system structure on the formation of educational inequalities) a vzdělanostní mobility (např. Educational inequality in the Czech Republic between 1906 and 2002 from a mobility perspective).
