This paper is concerned with finite element numerical simulation of unsteady viscous incompressible flow in a simplified model of the glottal region of the human vocal tract. For the approximation on moving meshes the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) method is employed. The numerical results for flow in vibrating channel were carried out for the physiologhicaly relevant pressure drop.
