Práce se zabývá vývojem tzv. faktoidu o vzniku nejstarších států. Diskutováno je rozložení moci, role měst, vznik sociální komplexity, druhy sociální identity, kolaps nejstarších států a civilizací. Nastíněna je nová podoba evoluční trajektorie vzniku států.

This article deals with evolution of a factoid "origins of a state". Author discuss dimensions of power in the earliest states, the meaning of cities in the earliest states and civilizations, origins of social complexity, identity and agency in early states and collapse of ancient states and civilizations. New rules of the game were stated: alternative cocial evolutionary trajectories.
