Surface modification of the electrodes surface was tested for electrochemical analysis of DNA, proteins and/or small molecules. In comparison to the standard electrodes, the new devices provide easier and faster manipulation, and much less sample is consumed to achieve sensitivity comparable to standard microelectrodes.

Povrchová modifikace povrchu elektrody byla testována pro elektrochemickou analýzu DNA, proteinů nebo malých molekul. Ve srovnání se standardními elektrodami, nové zařízení umožňovalo lepší a rychlejší manipulaci a bylo třeba mnohem méně vzorku k dosažení citlivosti srovnatelné se standardními mikroelektrodami.
