The self-adaptive LMS filter (SA-LMS) demo presents the ability of the UTIA HW accelerators to be integrated to the distributed computational cloud managed by the SVP/SEP distributable framework. Consequently, the application using the SVP/SEP API can adapt to the dynamically changing availability of computing places in the cloud. The cloud can contain multiple heterogenous FPGA boards providing a possibilty to benefit from huge parallelisms and work offloads.

Tento funkční vzorek ukazuje možnost integrovat HW akcelerátory vyvinuté v UTIA do distribuovaného systému SVP/SEP. S využitím SVP/SEP API lze pak implementovat požadovaný algoritmus tak, že je možné využívat výpočetní prostředky, které jsou v daný moment k dispozici. Takový postup těží z možnosti využít paralelizmy v algoritmu a také přesouvat výpočty mezi různýmy výpočetními místy v distribuovaném systému.
