The organized mesoporous alumina (surface area 344 m2g 1, pore-size diameter 4.6 nm) was studied as a support of hydrodesulfurization catalysts. It was found that the impregnation of the support from a solution of molybdenum dioxide diacetylacetonate in methanol yielded catalysts that are highly active in the hydrodesulfurization of benzothiophene. The sulfidic Mo catalysts supported on the OMA were successfully promoted by Co and Ni from solutions of acetylacetonates of these metals in methanol as shown by increased hydrodesulfurization of benzothiophene and of thiophene in parallel with hydrodenitrogenation of pyridine, and by an increase in the relative selectivity C-S hydrogenolysis/C=C hydrogenation.
Organizovaná mezoporézní alumina (344 m2g 1, průměr pórů 4.6 nm) byla studována jako nosič hydrodesulfurizačních katalyzátorů. Impregnace nosiče z roztorku molybdenyl acetylacetonátu v methanlolu vedla ke katalyzátorům vysoce aktivním v hydrodesulfurizaci benzothiofenu. Sulfidické Mo katalyzátory nanesené na OMA byly úspěšně promotovány Co and Ni z roztoku acetylacetonátů kovů v methanolu, jak bylo sledováno zvýšenou hydrodesulfurizací benzothiofenu a thiofenu parallelně s hydrodenitrogenací pyridinu a selectivitou C-S hydrogenolýza/C=C hydrogenace.
