The goal of this contribution is the investigation in to the complex problem of multi-phase behaviour of foaming systems. Our special attention was paid to beer foams. In particular we studied three specific problems of the foam behaviour: foam formation, foam structure and foam decay. To this end we developed a suitable visualisation procedure using high-speed imaging. Our results concern some specific aspects of the foam dynamics.
