Jedná se o český překlad publikace autorů působících na Rock Art Research Institute v Johannesburgu, kteří inovativně přistupují k problematice společností na přechodu k produktivnímu zemědělství skrze neurologický přístup (změněné stavy vědomí, hypnagogie). Autoři se snaží nové poznatky výzkumů lidkého vědomí aplikovat na změny na počátku neolitu a to ve dvou oblastech: na Předním Východě a v Atlantické Evropě.

The authors of the book work at the Rock Art Research Institute in Johannesburg. Their book is the inovative neurological approach of the problematic of the societies passaging to the productive husbandry. The authors apply the new knowledge of the human consciousness to transition at the beginning of the Neolithic period in the Near East and in Atlantic Europe.
