P. Exner v letech 2006-2008 aktivně pracoval jako předseda komise IUPAP pro matematickou fyziku a vicepresident IUPAP. Důstojně zde reprezentoval ČR a podílel se zejména na rozhodování o udílení podpor IUPAP konferencím a dalším aktivitám v oboru matematické fyziky.
P. Exner in 2006-2008 actively worked as the chairman of the IUPAP Commission for Mathematical Physics and the vicepresident of IUPAP. He dutifully represented Czech Republic here and take part especially in decisions on the IUPAP supports for the conferences and other activities in the field of mathematical physics.
