The aim of this study was to determine whether the inhibition of oxidative stress by N-acetylcysteine in rats during adaptation to chronic hypoxic affects the expression and activity of MnSOD. Our results showed that the induction of MnSOD, which is mediated by chronic hypoxic-induced increased oxidative, may involved in its protective effects
