Miller provides in his book new insights into Popper's philosophy and deals with the most important objections against critical rationalism voiced over the years. The book focuses mainly on problems concerning Popper's methodology and applied science, the demarcation criterion, the confrontation between rationalism and the postmodern philosophical tendencies, and the employment of paraconsistent logic in falsificationism.

Millerova kniha předkládá analýzu klíčových problémů Popperovy filosofie a vypořádává se s nejdůležitějšími námitkami vůči kritickému racionalismu z posledních několika desetiletí. Miller se zaměřuje především na problémy Popperovy metodologie v aplikované vědě, na kriterium demarkace vědy a jiných způsobů poznání, na konfrontaci racionalismu a postmoderních myšlenkových proudů a na použití parakonsistentní logiky v metodě falsifikace.
