    The aim of this study was to investigate the phytodegradation of 2,4,6- trinitrotoluene by Arabidopsis thaliana at the proteome level. Differential protein expression was analyzed by two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE). Results showed total of approximately 700 major protein spots (in 8 independent experiments). TNT caused only small changes in the Arabidopsis thaliana proteome. Pixel densities for 18 protein spots differed significantly between TNT treatments and control plants.

    Cílem této studie bylo pozorování změn v průběhu degradace TNT na úrovni proteomu. Zkoumaným modelem byly rostliny Arabidopsis thaliana, jako metoda sloužila diferenciační dvoudimenzionální elektroforéza. Touto metodou bylo porovnáno přibližně 700 proteinových spotů, z nichž 18 ukazovalo na výrazné změny v expresi proteinu mezi rostlinou ošetřenou TNT a kontrolou.
