    Juvenoids - biologically active compounds, which can be used e.g. as efficient agents for decreasing insect pest population density by ecological way, have been prepared in different structural varieties in our laboratories in the past.1 In a close connection with looking for a proper application form and with a study of the conjugation juvenoids with the steroid compounds generally we utilized bile acids as a moiety of „projuvenoids" (juvenogens). These compounds should be pre-steps of nanostructural juvenoid carriers composed mainly of phytostcrols or phytosteroids (e.g. phytoecdy steroids). However, the bile acids succeeded as building blocks of conjugates with juvenoids, prepared compounds show good biological activity in basic biological tests on blowfly Neohellieria hullata. For a possible other improving of biological activity we have focused on a preparation of molecules covalently binding more than one juvenoid in the structure, and according to this, the size of the steroid carriers grows. Preparation of these steroid nanocarriers offers also other possibilities in conjugation with different biologically active compounds.
