    FGF2 is usually extracellularly secreted in low molecular weight form, but it was found to act also as a high molecular weight nuclear growth factor. This review summarizes data concerning its localization, tissue specifics, function, and molecular mechanisms.

    FGF2 je obvykle sekretován z buňky v nízkomolekulární formě, ale vyskytuje se i v jádře jako vysokomolekulární jaderný růstový faktor. Tato review shrnuje informace o jeho lokalizaci, tkáňové specifitě, funkci a molekulárních mechanizmech účinku.
