Článek se snaží zpochybnit udržitelnost platonistického pojetí jazykového významu. Na příkladech ukazuje problémy, které soudobí filosofové a logikové naklonění platonismu přehlížejí, ačkoli (nebo protože) snaha o jejich řešení by se mohla ukázat pro jejich přístup osudnou.
The paper raises doubts concerning tenability of the platonistic conception of linguistic meaning. It shows on examples problems that present day philosophers and logicians of the platonistic bent tend to neglect though (or because) attempt at their solution might turn out fatal for the their position.
